Computing

Our Computing Subject Lead is Miss Rushin, Y 5/6 teacher.

Computing is an essential part of everyday life and therefore an essential part of the curriculum. We hope to prepare our children to explore technology fearlessly, aware of the safety measures, ready for jobs in the future which perhaps don't even exist yet! We are passionate about technology, with  investments in interactive whiteboards and iPads. We hope to utilise technology for good and to continue to develop new ways for the future!

Our children learn about the benefits of technology in order to do good and be well equipped for now and the future, but also do not rely on it for everything, and learn about the level of responsibility needed to use it, the dangers, and how we keep safe and use it to our advantage without taking away our skills in other areas.
