Curriculum Overview:

 

NCETM Mastering Number: We follow this programme for 4 days a week, focussing on the children developing a very strong and secure understanding of number. This enables the children to use and apply numbers in a variety of contexts and have these skills for the future.

Reading:

Please read your child's home reading book daily/ as much as possible. As well as this it is important to share books and stories together to build their comprehension and understanding. 

 

Phonics: 

There are a selection of phonics games available online and also Apps to support the children's developing knowledge. These are enagaging and enjoyable for the children as well as helping them to secure their knowledge.

Whilst practising phonics with your children please ensure you are pronouncing the phonemes correctly, this video will help to support you in saying the phonemes correctly.
