Online Safety

Whilst we embrace technology and want our children to master the benefits for their future and to support others, we need to do this with our Mission at the heart.

We protect our children whilst at school with search reports daily. These give us information regarding what is being searched and how the firewall protects us if needed. We can locate the devices used and who they were allocated to, to track any searches that may be concerning, and also to support any children who may be searching for information and need help.

We support our children with information regarding dangers, and ask that parents enter into an agreement with us to reduce misuse of  technology. We ask that parents check their children's use, which have have fantastic support with. We are all learning together, adults and children alike, and need to work together to ensure we are informed about new apps and how we can protect our children.

Here are some materials that are important for ensuring our children are safe online.

Online activity has increased hugely in our children, and unfortunately online crime has increased likewise, with primary age children targeted by adults.

Please use the materials provided to support safe online use.

The NSPCC has useful tips for parents and carers. The website is below. Also see National Online Safety:

UK Safer Internet also has some fantastic guides for parents and carers. Click on the link here.
We have links for the key devices and apps used in homes here:

Nintendo Wii

PS4 and PS5

XBox - all

Smart TVs advice can also be found on UK Safer Internet.
Below are quick guides on some of the main apps children are using. We always advice against using these due to the age guidance which directly relates to their maturity. Coping with online comments, group chats and exposure to strangers is dangerous for our children.
